ARSENE Wenger has warned Chelsea that the misery of their Champions League defeat may be compounded at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. The Arsenal manager knows the feeling of emptiness that goes with an exit from EuropeÂ’s elite competition. He also knows how it is magnified when it is inflicted by English opposition, his side having lost to the Blues in the 2004 quarter-finals.
Wenger said it is inevitable for a team to suffer a hangover following such a setback – Arsenal struggled this season after their Champions League last-16 elimination at the hands of PSV Eindhoven. And the timing could not be worse for Jose Mourinho’s side. As they come to terms with their semi-final penalty shoot-out defeat at Liverpool, they travel to Arsenal in the Premiership knowing that defeat, or even a draw, could spell the end of their title hopes.
Leaders Manchester United play their own grudge derby at neighbours City a day earlier, and if they win would move eight points clear with Chelsea having only three games remaining. After Arsenal, the Blues entertain United at Stamford Bridge before finishing with Everton at home. UnitedÂ’s last league fixture is against West Ham at Old Trafford.
Wenger said: “The team who go out of the Champions League now will have a little dip. You need time to recover from that. The team who go out will suffer in the championship. That is for sure.” How Wenger and Arsenal would love to unhinge Chelsea and leave Jose Mourinho with a real teaser. -
I guess Wenger and his boys can't belief their luck to be given this chance to finish off Big Talking Jose... And since the Chelsea boss Mourinho has taunted Wenger about his lack of trophies... i guess a draw or a win over them could probably made-up for their no trophy this season...
Hey no pressure... Gunners don't even need to win. If United win on Sat, anything less than a win will be the end for Chelsea. If united don't manage to win... Chelsea will still need the points.
Gunners fans also have Special plans for Ashley Cole... They plan to throw fruit and vegetables at him... just like the chelsea fans threw celery at the Arsenal players at the Bridge and the Millennium stadium. This could also be Gallas first match against his old club... and i don't think there is any love lost bewteen him and jose...
Yellow or even Red cards could be coming out from the referee's pocket for this match...

Oh boy, this seems like one interesting match already... can't wait for it to start... If Arsenal manage to deny the Blues... Bragging rights in London for the whole year belongs to the gunners... They could tell all chelsea fans " You lost your title at The Emirates. -

Arsenal will go all out for the win. Not saying Chelsea won't, but this match will showcase their mental strength. Even if Chelsea do not win the match, it matters how much of an effort they put up.
