  OTTENHAM boss Martin Jol will be the Premiership's big spender again this summer after lining up a £20million treble swoop.
  
  The Spurs manager has agreed a £7.5m deal for Auxerre defender Younes Kaboul, 21, who will join at the end of the season.
  
  Dutchman Jol is also hopeful of landing Southampton's teenage left-back Gareth Bale, 17, in a £9m swoop even though they face competition from Manchester United and Arsenal.

  In addition, Jol is tracking Hertha Berlin midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng, 20, who could go for £3.5m, and looking at Toulouse forward Johan Elmander. Targets also include Charlton's Darren Bent and West Ham's Nigel Reo-Coker.
  
  It will be another busy close-season for Jol even if Spurs are adamant they will not sell star striker Dimitar Berbatov despite interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.
  
  Berbatov's agent Emil Dantchev stressed yesterday that he believes the Bulgarian striker will stay put. Dantchev said: "I believe he will be at Tottenham next season."
  
  Jol spent more than £30m last summer with Berbatov his biggest deal in a £10.9m switch from Bayer Leverkusen. And, despite Tottenham's failure to break into the Champions League places, chairman Daniel Levy will back him again in the transfer market.

  Yes they spent a lot of money last season, i think second only to chelsea's $83m... They will improve next season if they manage to keep Berbatov.
  
  But word has it that chelsea may be lining up an £8million bid for their right-back Pascal Chimbonda.
  
  They always seem to lose their best players at the end of each season...

  Whats the point of signing so many players when the maximum number of players on the pitch per team is 11.
  
  Martin Jol is really nothing special. Yes, he signs potential stars like Wenger did but the difference is Jol broke banks to sign them but Wenger survived on peanuts.
