Chelsea coming to Singapore...

Saw today's ST mentioned that Chelsea FC is coming to Singapore and they are almost certain to play at the National Stadium on May 23, the day Liverpool takes on AC Milan in the CL final.
They will play against a Team Singapore or a selection from the S-League made up predonminantly of local talent...
Anyone going to watch? -

Chelsea NOT coming to Singapore...
Chelsea have let their fans down again when they call off their Asian tour. They were suppose to be playing in Singapore on the 23 of May but has since called it off.
One fan Muhammad Amli said: " I have just finish crying after they lost the Premiership title to United and now i feel like crying again... I am the only Chelsea fan in my family and i was hoping to convert them"
Official reason given from its chairman Bruce Buck was "We just have too many injuries at the moment" -

Actually i don't even know how were they going to come in the first place... 1 week away and tickets also haven't print, don't say promote and sell, logistic, arrangements all haven't make... What kind of planning?
I guess Samsung decided not to waste their money since it was going to be difficult trying to sell tickets for the match if given only 3 to 4 days time and given chelsea's lack of support in Asia and Singapore. I don't think they can even fill 15 to 20 thousand seats at the National stadium... But then again, FAS wouldn't care lah as long as they get payment for the use of the NS why they bother... Samsung will be the one footing all the bills. But then it wouldn't look nice if given a stadium that can take almost 60,000 only has 10 to 15 thousand fans inside... Anticlimax feeling... -
not much chelsea fans in singapore..but hardly an epl team come sg...i m sure the non-chelsea fans will also go n take alook too. at least can support sg rite? lol but so sad now..they r not coming =(

well, I think you have to start early when you need to hunt for the title again.. -
where got such short notice?? this kind of thing need mths of planning. i cant believe that there actually was a sponsor. wad nativity
