Everton let duo leave

Everton have released Richard Wright and Alessandro Pistone.
The pair have been told their contracts will not be renewed and they are free to leave Goodison Park.
Italian defender Pistone has been out of the first team since suffering a serious knee injury at the beginning of the 2005/06 season
Wright has failed to establish himself as number one goalkeeper since arriving at the club from Arsenal in the summer of 2002.
However, the former Ipswich ace could win himself a reprieve at Goodison Park if Everton fail to bring in a new keeper over the summer.
Toffees boss David Moyes confirmed the club were letting Pistone and Wright move on.
"Alessandro and Richard have both been released, although the door is slightly ajar for Richard in that we may need to bring in another keeper," Moyes told the club's official website.
The club have also offered new deals to Alan Stubbs and Lee Carsley and are waiting to see if they accept the offers on the table. -

Poor Richard Wright. He had a wonderful season with Ipswich till they got relegated. Arsenal signed him but didnt give him any chance. Everton signed him and he spent most of his time on the treatment table.
A sad finale for a guy once tipped to be England's number 1.
Maybe he's suited for the Coca-Cola Championship.
