LUIZ FELIPE SCOLARI is the latest coach to claim he has been asked about taking over at Chelsea. Big Phil said he is flattered to be considered to replace Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge. But the BrazilianÂ’s interest in the job will come as a severe blow to Mourinho, who has been told he will be in charge next season.
Sources close to Scolari insist the approach took place in the last three weeks. That would mean Mourinho could yet lose his job this summer. Acaz Fellegger, Scolari’s spokesman, said: “This is the time of the year when a lot of people make inquiries and Felipe has received a few.
“It’s flattering to know a club like Chelsea is interested. “But Felipe has a contract, he is committed to his job with Portugal and he wants to take them to Euro 2008. “At the moment, that is the situation.” -

Yeah true, his style is really what Roman wants... Winning playing good and attractive football... But i also worry cos he seems to condone diving and play-acting on his team... Like some of the Brazilian under him like Rivaldo dived during his time in charge and also the Portuguese team currently under him also does the same thing... He is like what Mourinho was when he first came to England... they seem to encourage these things over there... Jose's chelsea has cut down a little on the EPL cause they are found out easily but in Europe, with European referees... Their match against Barce and Liverpool still the same... He will also need a year or two to clean up his act if he comes over... But at least his mouth isn't as bad as Jose, that is a plus point...

but the thing with him is that he is not a long term coach. maybe two seasons at most and they would be back with the same problem. let jose stay for good.
