Reo-Coker keen to join Magpies
Premiership - West Ham United midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker is keen to quit Upton Park and join Newcastle United.
The Hammers captain incurred the wrath of Hammers fans last season after flirting with Arsenal, and his agent has now confirmed that despite the club avoiding relegation, he is looking for a summer transfer.
"Sam Allardyce knows how to get in contact with Nigel and we would welcome a call," said Tony Finnegan.
"If Sam said he wanted to speak, Nigel would be on the train in a shot. It would be very interesting to see what his plans are for Newcastle."
Allardyce is likely to be looking for a replacement for Scott Parker, who earlier this week completed an £7million move to West Ham United, and has a history of recruiting and getting the best out of players who have endured turbulent spells at previous clubs.
The Magpies would likely have to shell out around £8million to land Reo-Coker.
