Luiz Felipe Scolari has poured cold water on reports linking him with a move to Chelsea.World Cup-winning coach Scolari's stock is extremely high and he has been repeatedly linked with a move into club management with England.
Reports in the English press on Friday claimed he had been targeted by Chelsea, but Scolari says he has no interest in leaving his post with Portugal before Euro 2008.
"My desire is to be in Euro 2008 with Portugal," he told a press conference in Belgium. "I have a deal with the Portugal federation and this is my personal choice."
Scolari's agent Acaz Fellegger had been quoted as saying there had been an enquiry from Chelsea, but he claims to have not spoken with the English media for a number of months.
"I have not spoken with the English press since February so these quotes which have been published are false," said Fellegger. "This story is false.
"Scolari has the desire to take Portugal to Euro 2008."
