Robbie Savage has lived up to his name in issuing a barbed attack in the direction of Wales manager John Toshack, claiming the international set-up is an 'utter shambles'.The Blackburn midfielder and Toshack have long since not seen eye-to-eye and this latest vitriolic outburst will only fuel hostilities between the pair ahead of Wales' Euro 2008 qualifier against Czech Republic on Saturday.
Savage has not played for his country since being left out of Toshack's first World Cup qualifying squad two years ago and he has since announced his international retirement.
Joining Savage in hanging up his international boots, after Saturday's match, will be Ryan Giggs but the 32-year-old believes it is Toshack that should be shown the exit door for what he sees is a flawed and failed regime.
"Ryan Giggs is about to play his last game against the Czech Republic and he couldn't be calling it a day at a better time," Savage lamented to the Sun.
"Our game is an utter shambles. I watched the friendly against New Zealand last week, when we drew 2-2.
"Blimey, Blackburn beat the Kiwis last summer 5-0.
"That was a disaster, with no redeeming feature. Yet he tried to find some. It was seriously humiliating.
"If he was honest with himself, he'd look in the mirror and say, `I've failed' and walk away. It would be the honest and truthful thing to do.
"It really is time he called it a day. He has failed and along the way forced players to retire. He really should go."
