Mauro Camoranesi could be on his way out of Juventus after his agent failed to secure a contract extension for the right-sided midfielder on Wednesday.
Camoranesi's current deal ends in two years' time, but the 30-year-old Italian World Cup winner is seeking to prolong his contract another year until 2010.
"I am disappointed and bitter," said Camoranesi's agent Sergio Fortunato after a meeting with Juve director Alessio Secco.
"At this point we must look for a way out, because on these terms Mauro cannot stay with Juve.
"We are talking about one of the best midfielders in the world, a World Cup winner who has helped Juve win promotion back to Serie A.
"This won't do and Juve are mistaken if they think he will see out his contract."
Argentina-born Camoranesi was signed by Juventus in a co-ownership deal with Verona in 2002 before Juve bought him outright a year later.
