West Ham midfielder Yossi Benayoun is reportedly holding out for a move to Liverpool.
This is despite the Israeli midfielder agreeing a new £50,000 a week contract at Upton Park.
He has not yet signed the deal because he is aware of LiverpoolÂ’s interest.
The Reds have offered West Ham around £3 million but were told Benayoun is not for sale.
His agent Ronen Katzav, said on Wednesday: "We will sit tomorrow with West Ham and see where we are going to go. It is an unpleasant situation after we agreed terms but we will fight it. If West Ham decide not to sell him [we will have to accept it] - he is theirs. We will try to talk to them and convince them to let Yossi go."
