Barcelona midfielder Deco says his future at the club is not assured.
The Portuguese international is frustrated by the clubÂ’s underachievement this season and wants to see investment in the team over the coming months.
He said: "I am a Barcelona player and have a good contract through to 2010. But my future will be decided by me. I will have the final word.
"This isn't a threat. But it is obvious that many things need to change.
"I think we need to sign players for several positions. We need to build a team capable of again challenging for every trophy we compete for."
Deco also criticised Samuel Eto'o for going public about his disagreements with other figures at the club.
"Look, when players speak with the press, they must do it with responsibility, " he added. "You must do things inside the dressing room before taking it to the mass media."
