Premiership - Dudek in demand as Benfica close in
The Polish international, who was frozen out at Anfield following the arrival of Jose Reina, suggested Benfica is his most likely destination despite the interest of Real Madrid.
"During the last two weeks I have spoken about my transfer with different clubs from Turkey, Greece and Spain," he said.
"Moreover, the option of joining Benfica is still a possibility. The Portuguese should give me an answer by Monday.
"Their sporting director has asked me to be patient many times and I cannot deny that it is worth being patient for a club like that.
"I have had many opportunities to convince myself how great Benfica is."
Earlier this week Dudek mooted a possible shock switch to Real Madrid, but the 34-year-old is believed to be reluctant to join a club as a back-up goalkeeper.
If he moves to the Santiago Bernabeu, he will almost certainly play second fiddle to Spain international Iker Casillas. He is also wanted by Liga outfit Real Betis.
"Next week, after the end of the season in Spain, all the doubts regarding my transfer to this country will be clarified. I have two serious offers from there."
"Aside from that, I have turned down a lucrative offer from the Turkish club Trabzonspor."
