Christian Wilhelmsson's agent has confirmed that Tottenham are still very much interested in signing his charge.
The 28-year-old Swede spent last season on loan at Roma from French outfit Nantes.
Nantes were relegated last term which means the right winger will not be returning to France, and he has already revealed he would like to remain with Roma.
The Eternal City outfit are keen to take him back to the Stadio Olimpico, but a number of clubs - including Spurs - are keen to secure his services after he impressed hugely whilst in Italy last season.
"There could be an extension to the loan but there have been several clubs who have shown a real interest," his agent italian agent Mino Raiola told the Sun.
"One of those clubs is Tottenham. Roma want to keep him but the final decision is for Nantes."
Reports from Sweden also suggest that Middlesbrough, another team who have looked at Wilhemsson in the past, are also keen on him once again.
