ERIC DJEMBA-DJEMBA is on the verge of quitting Aston Villa.
The Cameroon international spent four months on loan at Burnley last season after being told he was not in Martin O'Neill's first-team plans.
And Djemba-Djemba fears he has little chance of changing the Irishman's opinion of him.
O'Neill is keen to push ahead with his policy of using Villa's youngsters and has been promised transfer funds by owner Randy Lerner.
Any new arrivals will push Djemba-Djemba further down the midfield pecking order so he is ready to cut his losses.
The 26-year-old, who also failed to make an impact at Manchester United, believes he can still prove himself in the Premier League.
But he is set to leave England this summer with Portugal his most likely destination.
