Arsenal signs £2m wonderkid

Arsenal have agreed a £2million deal for Haugesund's 16-year-old centre back Havard Nordtveit. Manager Arsene Wenger flew to Norway in an attempt to push through a deal after Haugesund rejected a £1.8m bid.
But Arsenal went back with a fresh offer and Nordtveit will sign a four-year deal. Haugesund spokesman Ingolf Steensnaes said: 'We're quite happy, but it's been tough.' Manchester United, Bordeaux, Ajax and clubs from Italy and Spain were also interested.. -

Seriously, as long as Arsenal performs, it does not matter what kind of player they sign, old birds or youngsters. Right now, what Arsenal need is not a world class player but consistency, thus many would say, thats why they need world class player to bring them consistency. Many may argue its because their squad is too young, thats why they are unable to find their consistency last season, i actually agree with that, but if Wenger can motivate the whole squad with a great team talk, they can still win without having to buy any world class players but they must have some luck too
