Villarreal striker Diego Forlan claims a new Premier League side is chasing his services.
Liverpool and Sunderland have already been linked with moves for the former Manchester United hit-man.
However, the pair could face further competition for his services with the Uruguayan claiming a third club is now chasing his signature.
"It's not only Liverpool who've asked about signing me. In January I rejected a loan move to Sunderland," Forlan said in the Sunday Mirror.
"I also know another Premier League club is asking about my availability.
"I've signed a new deal with Villarreal and they have an exit clause of around £15million in my contract."
Forlan believes his nightmare Red Devils spell is firmly behind him and that he has proved his character in La Liga.
"I could have won a few bets after I failed at United," he continued. "During my time in Spain I've demonstrated I can face up to big challenges."
