Bernardo Corradi's agent Moreno Roggi has stated his belief that his client will be playing in Italy next season.
After a first season in the Premier League with Manchester City that will not live long in the memory, speculation has been rife with regards the striker's likely return to Serie A.
Although it is unlikely that a deal will be struck before Manchester City appoint a new manager, which will only happen when talks over a proposed takeover are concluded, it does look as if Corradi will quit Eastlands.
Corradi's former club Lazio have been mooted as possible suitors but Roggi believes that a return to Rome at this juncture in his career is unlikely.
"I'm 90 per cent certain that Corradi will return to Serie A," Roggi is quoted as saying on Channel 4's Football Italia website.
"He would be of real use to sides like Sampdoria, Parma and Torino - teams who all need a target man.
"Nothing has happened yet surrounding his future, but some interesting situations may arise between now and August 31.
"I think a Lazio return would be improbable and there has never been anything with Roma at all."
