Bolton are reportedly lining up Liverpool 'keeper Scott Carson or Sheffield United stopper Paddy Kenny as a replacement for Jussi Jaaskelainen.
The Finnish star has just one year left on his contract at the Reebok Stadium and has yet to agree an extension, sparking immediate interest from Sunderland and Aston Villa.
Jaaskelainen's agent Peter Harrison has denied reports that his client wants £60,000-a-week to stick with the Trotters, saying: "Jussi has not asked for anything like that.
"Even if he signed the new deal Bolton have offered, it still wouldn't put him among the highest-paid players at the club. It's just a shame he's being treated like this."
The Sun claims that Carson or Kenny are Sammy Lee's top targets should Jaaskelainen opt to move on, although Lee is still hopeful a new a deal to keep the 32-year-old at the club can be reached.
