Wigan have reportedly joined the race to land Sheffield United striker Robert Hulse, with a £2million bid on the cards.
Reports on Sunday suggest Latics boss Chris Hutchings wants the former Leeds man for next season and is ready to offer the Blades up to £2million for him.
Reading are also keen on the frontman, who grabbed eight goals in 28 games for United last term, and will be able to match anything Latics offer.
However the 27-year-old is said to be happy to stay at Bramall Lane and wants to prove to new boss Bryan Robson he can be the man to fire the Blades straight back up into the Premiership next season.

Forget it Wigan. You signed Bramble, you pay the price.
