Neil Warnock reckons he should get the Manchester City job ahead of Sven-Goran Eriksson as he would do a better job at Eastlands.
Eriksson is set to hold more talks with prospective City owner Thaksin Shinawatra with a view to taking over as manager.
However Warnock, who parted company with Sheffield United at the end of the season following their relegation, thinks he would outperform the Swede.
Asked if he would do better than Eriksson, Warnock told Sky Sports News: "That's a little bit of a pointed question....but the answer's yes."
But he thinks the increasing number of foreign owners in English football will count against him as he attempts to find another job in the Premier League.
He added: "Unfortunately, it's got to be someone who runs or owns a club who wants that type of manager."

Foreign owners of EPL clubs are squeezing out British managers. Not a good thing.
Anyway, I suspect Thaksin's takeover attempt at MCFC is meant for him to launder dirty money.
