Charlton have confirmed that eight players have left The Valley, with Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink and Talal El Karkouri heading the list.
Hasselbaink, 35, scored just two Premiership goals for the Addicks after joining from Middlesbrough last summer, while 30-year-old defender El Karkouri netted eight times during his three-year spell with the club.
Goalkeeper Thomas Myhre and striker Kevin Lisbie - who once scored a Premiership hat-trick against Liverpool - have also left the club following their relegation to the Championship.
The other out-of-contract players to be released are Nathan Ashton, Rurik Gislason, Alistair John and Myles Weston.
James Walker - who enjoyed loan spells with Bristol Rovers, Leyton Orient and Notts County last season - has been offered a new deal.
