Baptista calls for Robben deal

Julio Baptista has urged Real Madrid to sign Arjen Robben for the number of chances the Chelsea winger would create.
Real have confirmed a liking for the Holland international, who has been discussing a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
But reports have suggested Chelsea could sell Robben for £15million to finance a move for Lyon wide man Florent Malouda.
Baptista, who looks set to stay with Real next season, feels Robben would be a valuable addition to the Spanish champions' squad.
"The Dutchman is a big player and excellent with assists," Baptista told As.
"If he signs with Real, the team will score many goals with the head because of the fact he is a wonderful crosser.
"He is similar to Beckham in this aspect."
Baptista, who spent last season on loan at Arsenal, will be given a second crack at forging a career at the Bernabeu after being told he will go on the pre-season tour to Austria.
He added: "I want to succeed in Real Madrid and I wait to get the chance during pre-season in Austria.
"I am convinced that I would be able to be with Real next season." -
