Calderon: I knew months ago

Real Madrid chairman Ramon Calderon has said he made the decision to axe Fabio Capello as early as February.
La Liga winners sacked Capello shortly after the Spanish Giants won the title.
But Calderon said his decision was made some months ago and was based upon the fans perception of his 'negative' style.
"Madrid must seek excellence and stylish play," Calderon told AS.
Capello will receive six million euros in compensation from the Spanish giants who have lined up Getafe's Bernd Schuster to take his place.
Despite winning La Liga, Madrid's earlier form had been poor which is when Calderon decided to take action.
"In February I began to realise Capello's plan was not what the fans wanted," he said.
"We have to look forward. We want a return to the spectacular and to entertaining the fans."
He added: "While it will cost a lot of money to get rid of him it is within the club's means." -
