Freddie Ljungberg's agent has dismissed reports linking the Arsenal midfielder with Fiorentina as mere 'speculation'.
The Sweden captain is rumoured to be on the wish list of a number of European clubs after suffering from two barren seasons in North London.
West Ham, Manchester City and Portsmouth have all been linked with the two-time Premier League winner, whilst reports in Italy on Wednesday claimed that Viola were also ready to enter the chase.
Such claims have been rubbished once again by Ljungberg's agent Claes Eleflak though, with his client seemingly intent on completing his upcoming tenth season with The Gunners.
"Speculation," Elefalk told Sportbladet when questioned on the Fiorentina reports. "There will be more.
"We have said it so many times, he has explained that he will play on [for Arsenal]."
