Cesc Fabregas gave his take on the transfer movements of the top four Premiership clubs.
The top four clubs seem to all be spending and strengthening for what promises to be a great Premiership season, though Chelsea have yet to spend, despite having made three signings.
Fabregas believes that the influx of players such as Anderson, Nani, Torres and Eduardo will impact the title race positively.
"We have signed the Croatian forward Eduardo Da Silva whereas Manchester United has secured two very good young players (Anderson and Nani)," he said.
"Chelsea has still not spent anything and Liverpool will be there with Torres.
"We are going to see what we can do this season."
He also spoke about his own motivation to do well, having become nothing less than a club idol.
"To see people of all ages, young and old, wearing my shirt around London is an honor and it does humble you," he said.
"Last season I was the player at Arsenal that sold the most shirts and that makes me proud.
"I could play all the games, the fans are always with me and it means that you are doing things in the right way."
