Mourinho: The Pressure Is On Man Utd

  Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says Manchester United will be under more pressure than the Blues to succeed in the coming season spending heavily this summer.
  
  Compared with recent summers, Mourinho has been fairly cautious in the transfer market, but United have spent around £50 million.
  
  Mourinho said: "Manchester United's spending is something that we don't control, we don't want to control - we don't comment, we don't want to comment.
  
  "But when we spent some millions, everybody pointed at us as the team with more responsibility to win."
  
  He added: "This was because we were the spenders in the market.
  
  "That's not the case this season. The only player we've bought was Florent Malouda. We are very happy with that."
  
  After watching Chelsea spend Roman Abramovich's millions extravagantly since the Russian bought the club in 2003, United have splashed out on Owen Hargreaves, Nani and Anderson, with Carlos Tevez possily on the way to Old Trafford.
  
  Now Mourinho says he is delighted to allow the "responsibility" for success to shift from his shoulders to those of his rival Sir Alex Ferguson.
  
  He said: "Every club does its own analysis of the market and their needs."

  champions are always expected to defend their title. and looking at how manu fared in the transfer market recently, its hard to bet against them

  I think Jose is feeling the pressure already as the new season haven't even started he is already starting his mind games... Now with a ready made replacement in Grant (RA specially employed) man at chelsea... One bad move and jose could be out of chelsea...
  
  Personally i think he may not last the season... Lets see...

  Of course the pressure is on United. The same goes for Mourinho. If he doesn't win the league, I'm afraid it's bye bye.
  
  Abramovich does not value Mourinho the way Fergie is appreciated at United.

  Seriously, you should find other things to do in life. For a start, you can start brushing up on your knowledge of 'real soccer'. Like what is considered offside, what isn't. Just an example....
