Sunderland have launched an £8million bid to sign Hearts goalkeeper Craig Gordon according to reports north of the border.
Boss Roy Keane is desperate to sign a new goalkeeper this summer and has turned his attentions to Gordon after failing with his attempts to land Bolton's Jussi Jaaskelainen.
Keane has been tracking Gordon all summer and now according to reports in Scotland the Irishman has launched a £5million bid that could rise to £8million depending on add ons.
Despite all the rumours Gordon himself is just concentrating on his time with Hearts.
"It's not something I can think about at the moment," Gordon revealed. "The club haven't accepted a bid from anyone so until they do I'll just continue doing what I'm doing here.
"If that changes then we'll see what happens but for me nothing has changed. It's business as usual until I'm told someone has made a bid that the club consider acceptable."
