Three Premier League clubs are battling to sign Swedish winger Christian Wilhelmsson.
Wilhelmsson, who spent the majority of last season on loan at Roma, is set to leave French outfit Nantes - after they were relegated from Ligue 1.
It is believed that Middlesbrough and Manchester City are two of the clubs involved.
Wilhelmsson is thought to be available for around £2million and his agents have confirmed that four clubs have made contact, three of which are from England.
"We are talking to four clubs right now," Fabio Alho told Sportbladet.
