Jose: Robben a Chelsea player
Jose Mourinho remains keen to keep Chelsea winger Arjen Robben amid claims the club have made an offer for Fabio Cannavaro.Real Madrid are aiming to sign Robben and reports have claimed that Chelsea have been offered either Cannavaro, or Cicinho, in part exchange.
Speculation has also suggested that Robben has agreed personal terms with Real, but Mourinho suggests there is currently little substance to the rumours.
"The latest is 10 minutes ago he finished the game, I can not tell more than that," said Mourinho after Chelsea's 1-0 win over Suwon Bluewings.
"At the moment he is a Chelsea player and he has two more years of his contract. He's working well and playing like the other players, like John Terry or Frank Lampard, with two more years of contract.
"In this moment I look at him as a Chelsea player.
"I think you (the press) have to be a bit embarrassed. During all day you said Arjen Robben was flying to Madrid or London or wherever, and you go here to the stands and see Robben play.
"In my opinion, when you are embarrassed, you shouldn't speak about things. I think it's better for you to forget the Arjen Robben story because today he (Robben) made a mistake, unless he has a private flight and is flying now!"
Meanwhile, Cannavaro's agent Gaetano Fedele claims Chelsea have made an offer for the Italian defender.
Fedele told Radio MilanInter: "Fabio is in Madrid where he is very well and where he won La Liga, and for that reason I do not believe that the possibility exists for him to leave Real Madrid.
"Yes, the offer (from Chelsea) arrived, but we have given everything to the will of Real Madrid because we do not forget that it is the most prestigious club in the world."
