Derby County are believed to be the latest club to offer Patrick Kluivert the chance to return to English football, according to reports coming out of Holland.
Speculation has continued to circulate that the 31-year-old former Dutch international striker has been offered a trial by Rams manager Billy Davies to bolster attacking options at the newly-promoted Premiership side.
Last week Kluivert rejected the opportunity to train with Coca-Cola Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, after Owls manager Brian Law admitted he had been keen to make a move for the player.
Kluivert rejected the move, telling Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf: "I am flattered by the interest but a transfer to Sheffield Wednesday doesn't fit in my future plans."
A move to Pride Park might be more conducive to Holland's highest international goalscorer, giving him the opportunity to atone for an unconvincing one-year spell at Newcastle in 2004.
i think it'll be a good move for derby....they really lack a experienced striker up front.....vine and earnshaw dun have enough premiership exp and euro exp....
