Martin O'Neill is eager to land a new goalkeeper this summer and has plenty of funds available, with the Hearts shot-stopper believed to be his new number one target at around £7million.
The Scottish side have already rejected an offer from Sunderland as they hold on for £10million, yet O'Neill is confident he can negotiate for the Scotland international.
"I think it's for Craig to decide his own destiny," majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov told Hearts World. "You can't just hold somebody at the club if he doesn't want to stay. "He is very young and he has a fantastic future.
"If he tells me he wants to go, that's his decision."

Sorensen used to be very good but i dont know why his form slipped down so much. Anyway, Sorensen is already in his 30s, he'll be retiring in few season's time and I dont think Wright is the man to take over as number 1.
But then again, it's really pricey for an unproven keeper to cost 7m.
