A roundup of how all the Barclays Premier League clubs fared in the latest round of friendly matches.
Liverpool's Fernando Torres fired off a warning shot to the rest of the Barclays Premier League as he scored his first goal in a 2-0 victory against Shanghai Shenhua in the Port of Rotterdam Tournament.
The 23-year old was quick off the mark in his first start for the Reds, scoring after just 12 minutes. Skipper Steven Gerrard added a spectacular second on 64 minutes - seconds after coming off the substitutes' bench.

Liverpool's north-western rivals, Manchester United, also enjoyed a 2-0 victory. Manager Sir Alex Ferguson used the friendly against Doncaster Rovers to try out a number of unfamiliar faces. And while new boy Anderson undoubtedly impressed, other youngsters staked their claim to a regular first-team slot next season.
Darren Gibson opened the scoring with a superb 20-yard drive on 80 minutes. And United doubled their lead a minute from time when Sean Evans blasted a left-foot rocket into the back of the net.
The other Barclays Premier League club in action didn't fare so well. Fulham lost 2-1 at Queens Park Rangers - despite taking a tenth-minute lead through Brian McBride. Two second-half goals in the space of ten minutes by Ben Sahar sealed the victory for QPR.

Wow, Ben Sahar is a real gem Chelsea have. But i doubt he'll have a future at the bridge when the manager prefers ready made superstars over home grown talents.
