Valencia have agreed to sign Nikola Zigic from Racing Santander after lengthy negotiations between the two clubs finally produced a deal, los Ché have announced.
The Serbian striker will put pen-to-paper on a five-year contract at Mestalla after undergoing a medical on Friday, a statement on Valencia's official website read.
Zigic has been a target of several clubs after enjoying an impressive first season in Spain and has chosen to stay in la Primera despite interest from the Premiership.
Standing at 2.02m tall, the 26-year-old is being seen as the penultimate piece in Quique Sánchez Flores' summer rebuilding programme at Valencia.
According to Marca, the fee agreed with Racing is around €20m and the Cantabrian outfit will now use that money to bolster their squad before the start of the campaign.
After making his name at Red Star Belgrade, Zigic moved to Racing last summer and went on to score 13 times in 35 appearances.
