Spurs get go-ahead for Guti

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has been put on alert for Real Madrid's £5 million midfielder Guti.
Madrid president Ramon Calderon is desperate to sign Chelsea winger Arjen Robben and that would allow Guti to leave the club.
Tottenham have gone for Guti twice before and Real have asked them whether they would be keen on the 30-year-old as part of a transfer merry-go-round.
Spurs boss Martin Jol wants to sign a left-sided midfielder and Levy may now get the chance to resurrect his interest in Guti. -

Its not gonna work, guti is best in the center making plays.
However i just got a feeling that he's a little too soft for the premiership. -

Hmmm... it may make wonder for Spurs if they change their manager.
But I do think Martin Jol isn't big enuff to make Spurs a mighty force. At best, good enuff to lead team to above mid table. He has some really good players in Defoe, Jenas and some home talents but did not make the team gel as a whole with the foreign legion.
If they wana buy a left sided midfielder, Guti isn't gonna be the man. He is a left footer but ain't a winger for sure for his age and pace. No doubt he is very creative in the centre of the park tho.

They have a good left winger in reto ziegler all along but sold him and played central or right midfielders on left.....i think guti is just gonna be like davids...
this is a first time i've seen a club go backwards by buying more players to replace players they didn't need to sell...
