Didn't you know that the new owener of Newcastle didn't check the books before making a rushed buy? Cos he didn't want their previous chairman to know that he was making a hostile takeover that he bought his shares on the quiet from its other directors... Now Newcaslte has not much money to spend also cos the owner wants to balance the book thats why Big Sam is frustrated again that he still don't have the kind of fund he was expecting when he first came over...Originally posted by used:exactly my point. bolton didnt have much cash tts why they had to get low cost players. but now.......dont tell me old habits die hard
the old chairman was a screw up. we all know that. who would rashly sack a 70 year old man who had successes all over europe with clubs like barcelona??Originally posted by zocoss:Didn't you know that the new owener of Newcastle didn't check the books before making a rushed buy? They have also released quite a number of players on the free like Olivier Bernard, Craig Moore, Titus Bramble, Antoine Sibierski, Alan O'Brien and even sold Scott Parker to WH... And have only brought in Joey Barton, David Rozehnal, Jose Sanchez Enrique & Alan Smith... The rest were free signings as well like Mark Viduka & Claudio Cacapa.
