Middlesbrough have completed the £6million signing of Mido from Tottenham after the Egypt striker agreed a four-year contract at the Riverside.
The 24-year-old has been granted a work permit and is available for Saturday's Premier League clash against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Boro, without a point from their first two games, beat off keen interest from newly-promoted duo Birmingham and Sunderland to land the player.
