Blackburn have been hit with a £100,000 FA fine for their dreadful disciplinary record.
Mark HughesÂ’ team racked up seven red cards and a staggering 111 yellows last season.
The punishment was dished out just hours after Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger had accused Blackburn of a ‘desire for violence’ in Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Ewood Park.
The FA will impose a further £50,000 rap if their behaviour does not improve this season.
Bolton, Millwall, West Brom, Chester, Leeds, Barnet, Huddersfield, Accrington Stanley and Wycombe were also fined, while Chelsea, West Ham and Wigan were sent a letter of warning.
