Tottenham midfielder Danny Murphy has been linked with a move to Sunderland before the transfer window closes tomorrow.
The former Liverpool player is used to last gasp moves in the transfer window after being signed for £2million from Charlton moments before the January window slammed shut last year.
Murphy has failed to win a regular place in Martin Jol's plans and the chance to supply passes to the Black Cats strikers as the fulcrum in Roy Keane's midfield may prove too good to turn down if the interest from the Stadium of Light is genuine.
