Inter Banish Adriano From Europe

Inter Milan have officially left Adriano out of the 25-man squad submitted to UEFA late on Saturday night.
This sees the relationship between the player and the club sink to a new low, even though Roberto Mancini played it cool.
"For me it has been a great disappointment to leave out any player," he said after the game against Empoli.
"My relationship with Adriano? I have spoken with him a lot in these past years and there has always been great confidence on my part.
"As I said in yesterday's press conference, I'm convinced he will return to being the great champion he was. He has to do his bit, and we will also do more to help him. Together, we can do a lot."
Earlier in the week, Adriano refused to move to the likes of Parma or Lazio, or to England, on loan, and the general opinion is that this is Inter's response.
However, that the player will not be Cup-tied, and thus be a lucrative winter target for top clubs, might just have played a part too. -

i see him resorting to drugs and alcohol if he has no place in the inter team.
and unfortunately, i don't see a way back for him already. because being left out, i doubt he has the heart to even attend trainings or take it seriously. -
Adriano accepts Inter's Euro snub
Adriano insists he is content with life at Inter Milan despite his exclusion from the club's UEFA Champions League squad list.
"If Roberto Mancini (Inter coach) didn't want me he would have definitely put me out," Adriano told Gazzetta Dello Sport.
"Mancini explained to me it was a hypothesis he was considering. I told him to do what he wanted.
"It is for this reason I haven't been surprised by the exclusion. I only think about training and I'm tranquil." -
I think United should have signed him on loan. He could prove useful.

Villarreal also left out Juan Roman Riquelme from their 25 men squad... The playmaker was asked to look for a new club before the transfer window close and was link to Everton... But since he didn't leave... They got angry and left him out totally now.
He has to wait till Jan before he can play again... -

Juan Roman Riquelme was linked with a move to Atletico Madrid during the final days of the transfer window, and Javier Aguirre admitted that the possibility was discussed before being discarded.
Riquelme had problems at Barcelona before leaving for Villarreal, and then fell out at El Madrigal too last season, and it appears as if the Mexican was not too keen on disrupting the new spirit in the dressing room.
"When the time came to make the signing, four of us [technical staff] met. However, with only two days to go, we thought that his signing was very risky," he told the press on the eve of Sunday's La Liga clash with Real Mallorca.
