Wigan sign Cameroon star Olembe

Premier League side Wigan have completed the signing of Cameroon left-back Salomon Olembe, subject to international clearance.
The 26-year-old has joined the Latics initially on a one-year deal after his contract at Marseille expired in June.
Olemebe, who previously had a spell at Leeds, has won 60 caps for Cameroon and appeared in the World Cup finals.
Boss Chris Hutchings told Wigan's website: "He knows the demands of the Premier League, he's a clever player."
Olembe will help fill the vacancy in the left-back berth created by Leighton Baines' summer move to Everton.
Hutchings added: "Salomon is experienced and has played at the highest level.
"We have had our eye on him for quite a while and like all our signings, we have done a lot of research on him.
"We were working right up to the transfer deadline to try to get a left-back into the club, but one or two didn't work out for various reasons." -

Olembe: Sib convinced me
New Wigan signing Salomon Olembe has revealed that Antoine Sibierski played a huge part in his move to The JJB.
Olembe signed for Wigan on Tuesday on a free transfer after his contract at Marseille expired in June.
The Cameroonian ace had other offers but admits Sibierski - who he played with at Nantes - had a major part to play in his signing.

"I had a chance to sign for Metz in France, but then I heard that Wigan wanted to speak to me," he told the Wigan Evening Post.
"So I spoke to Antoine and the people around me, and I decided I wanted to come here.
"Antoine said the environment here at Wigan was the same as at my first club Nantes which I enjoyed very much.
"It's good that he is here - first of all he can help me with my game, and then help me with the lifestyle.
"In training he helped me a lot because my English is not very good yet - people speak very fast.
"Hopefully, very quickly I will be able to spread my wings and manage on my own, but Antoine will be a big help to start with.
"It's a good challenge here, the club want to grow further and bring in good players - they have a very positive ambition."
