Manchester United, Chelsea and Leeds are the three worst clubs in Britain for rowdy and violent fans, a survey undertaken by the Police Review magazine, has revealed.
According to the magazine, Leeds fans were most likely to attack officers or be racially or sexually abusive.
Weekly figures collected by British Transport Police and reported by The Sun, show the trio are responsible for the most amount of disorder and cops say they are running out of cash to tackle the problem.
Policing supporters costs 10-million pounds a year. The North East, which has 23 league clubs, is the area where cops face the biggest struggle with aggressive fans.
There can be just a dozen officers to deal with thousands of fans travelling to a game by train.
