Former Italy Under-21 goalkeeper Angelo Pagotto has been handed an eight-year ban from football.
The suspension comes after he tested positive for cocaine, for a second time in his career.
Pagotto's latest failure came after Crotone's match with Spezia in April.
The Italian Football Federation considered a life-time ban, but instead opted for eight years - which effectively ends Pagotto's playing career as he is currently 33.
The ban ends a 13-year playing career which saw Pagotto enjoy spells with Pistoiese, Sampdoria, Milan, Empoli, Perugia, Triestina, Arezzo, Torino, Grosseto and finally Crotone.
