The Thai trio that spent a month on trial at Manchester City returned hone yesterday and admitted that their time in England was a tough one.
Right-back Suree Sukha, striker Teerasil Dangda and centre-back Kiatprawut Saiwaew joined up with the national team squad for next monthÂ’s 2010 World Cup qualifier against Macau.
The three players told reporters that the language barrier was a problem but the time spent with coach Sven Goran Eriksson was valuable.
''Apart from obtaining a work permit, another problem for us is language,'' Teerasil told the Bangkok Post.
''We are not very good in English and sometimes we did not understand what Sven wanted us to do.''
The Premier League club are keen to sign Suree but his application for a work permit was rejected. An appeal will be heard next month.
