Ludovic Giuly has taken another swipe at FC Barcelona and Frank Rijkaard as he continues to settle into his new life in Serie after joining AS Roma in the summer.
The former French international left Camp Nou in August and has chosen to use the media to attack the club where he spent three years and won two title and the Champions League.
Rijkaard is the main focus of his outbursts and the diminutive winger has now hit out at the training routines that his former coach employs.
"With Roma the infrastructure is better the training is more intense," Giuly stated.
"More care is taken over training and tactic, while at Barça there is more attention paid to technique."
Giuly was also not impressed with Rijkaard's laid back attitude towards his players' behaviour and prefers the stricter regime in place at Roma under Luciano Spalletti.
"Spalletti is always in among the squad, from the first to the last second, while he puts the responsibility onto the players and gives them complete freedom," he said.
Barça were criticised last term after the players were able to decide when they trained and that led to president Joan Laporta installing a code of conduct at the club.
