Rafa Benitez has responded to Sam Allardyce's remarks about how lucky the former was to still have a job at Liverpool.
Allardyce had suggested that Benitez should thank his stars, and the Champions League final berth, for still being in charge of Liverpool despite some very poor Premirtship campaigns.
Rafa has since responded in belligerent fashion, defending the achievements during his tenure, and also telling Big Sam to mind his own business.
"I want to say two things," he began.
"Firstly, I think he should be more worried about his own business because he must have more problems than to waste time talking about other managers.
"Secondly, has he forgotten Liverpool winning the Super Cup, FA Cup and Champions League as well as reaching another Champions League final, a Carling Cup final and twice finishing third in the Premier League?
"Maybe he doesn't have a great memory."
