Senegal star El Hadji Diouf has announced his decision that he will no longer to play for his country Senegal.
The 26-year-old Senegal captain is disappointed by the way the countryÂ’s football association is handling the affairs of the countryÂ’s football.
"The team has a scheduled friendly match in a week and we don't even know who we are playing against," said Diouf.
“This is unacceptable.”
The England-based player added: "If we have to come and play for our country, we have to pay for our own air ticket and reimbursement of the cost is another big problem.
"I don't think I will change my mind.”
The Bolton player was expected to lead the Teranga Lions to the upcoming African Nations Cup in Ghana, which kicks off in January 2008.
Senegal reached the semi-finals of the 2006 Nations Cup but lost 1-0 to Nigeria in the Third Place play-off.
