  I would say Andrea Pirlo. His excellent passing ability and his vision almost entirely controls Milan's pace.

  As for the current one...
  
  My pick will be Andrea Pirlo. Can shoot, pass and great free kicks. Great vision. More consistent than Riquelme who have a tendency to flop in major tournament.
