Francesco TottiÂ’s wife Ilary Blasi says that the Roma star will retire from football at the age of 35 so he can dedicate more time to his family and does not expect him to become a Coach.
The talismanic captain may have turned 31 a fortnight ago but he has started the current season in imperious form with six Serie A goals already.
Totti made his Roma debut in 1993 at the age of just 16 and has since gone on to make almost 400 appearances for his beloved club.
“I believe that he will stop at the age of 35,” said his wife and Italian showgirl Blasi.
“He will remain in the world of football and attached with Roma but he will not become the Coach. At least this is what he says.
“At least when he retires there will be more time for us to go on some trips and weekends away.
“Now we see each other a lot because he trains in the morning then comes home for lunch, but in respect to other couples we are not able to do certain things because of his commitments.”
It seems that Totti is in for an exciting time once he does decide to end his illustrious career.
