FAS is pleased to announce the ticketing details for the 2010 FIFA World Cup Asian Zone qualifying round match between Singapore and Palestine on Sunday, 28 October 2007.
Ticket Pricings
Grandstand: $20.00 (early bird ticket pricing @ $15.00)
Gallery - Adult: $10.00 (early bird ticket pricing @ $8.00)
Gallery - Student: $3.00 (no discount ; only applicable to Secondary & ITE students with valid concessionary passes)
FREE admission for primary school students and below.
Pre-sale will commence from 24 to 27 October 2007 (including Saturday) (9.00am to 6.00pm) at Jalan Besar Stadium.
*Note : Early bird discount is only applicable for pre-sale.

Ticket sales on Match Day will be at the National Stadium East and West Entrances from 3.00pm onwards. Gates open from 3.30pm.

With the second leg just 48 hours away let's have fun by predicting the score and stating the reasons why.I predict a 1 or 2 goals win for Singapore because the S-team tend to be complacent when the chips are up.

Latest update on Singapore - Palestine WCQ
As of 1200hrs on Saturday 27 October, the Palestine National Team has yet to arrive in Singapore for the FIFA World Cup 2010 Asian Zone qualifying match against the hosts on Sunday 28 October, 5pm at the National Stadium.
The Team Managers' Meeting took place this morning with the Match Commissioner Shahir Ahmed of the Maldives explaining that he has not received any written confirmation from the Palestine FA on their travel or non-travel plans.
Said Shahir, "I've also yet to receive any official documentation from FIFA or AFC on the status of this match. As such, it cannot be officially called off and preparations for it to go ahead as scheduled must still continue."
The FAS will continue to get in touch with the Palestine FA and is hopeful that the match will still go ahead in the event the team arrives by tomorrow.
Pending advice from the Match Commissioner, the FAS will be issuing a media statement on the status of the match on Sunday 28 October.
The public is advised to check with the media as well as the FAS website (www.fas.org.sg) for the latest on the status of the match.
In the event that the match is called off, fans who have purchased match tickets can obtain a full refund at the FAS office at Jalan Besar Stadium (Admin & Finance dept) during office hours (9am – 6pm) from Tuesday 30 October.

SINGAPORE, 28 October 2007: As of 1400hrs on Sunday 28 October, the Palestine National Team has yet to arrive in Singapore for the FIFA World Cup 2010 Asian Zone qualifying match against the hosts scheduled to kick off at 1700hrs at the National Stadium.
With less than three hours to kick off, we do not expect the match to go ahead as scheduled.
While we await word from FIFA and AFC on the official status of the match, the FAS is advising the public NOT to turn up at the National Stadium.
Fans who have purchased match tickets can obtain a full refund at the FAS office at Jalan Besar Stadium (Admin & Finance dept) during office hours (9am – 6pm) from Tuesday 30 October. -
