  it's a little bit strange they picked but it shows that wembley can host different sports events so why not......it'll have been more familiar to the londoners if it was between lerner's team and glazer's or gillet's.....but they're all crap in the nfl now i guess.....

  Wembley ground staff have been working round the clock to restore the pitch ripped up badly by the muddy heavyweights of American football.
  
  And stadium officials say the turf will be restored to its former glory in time for England's Euro 2008 showdown with Croatia on November 21.
  
  The NFL match between the Miami Dolphins and the New York Giants two weeks ago left its legacy.
  
  But the pitch is being treated under lighting rigs and "significant divots" have been replaced with new turf.
